THE JOB OF CLASS 8 FLEET MECHANIC INVOLVES
- Conducting regular maintenance checks on machinery, systems, and vehicles and diagnosing issues as necessary.
- Performing routine maintenance.
- Assembling mechanical components according to specifications.
- Monitoring machines and trucks and overseeing diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records.
- Monitoring inventory and ordering parts and equipment as needed.
THIS ONE’S FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE
- A minimum of 2 – 3 years of relevant experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent or mechanic certification
- Familiarity with Kenworth /Eaton.
- Ability to work sitting or standing.
- Ability to stretch and reach.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Hourly Rate: $25.00 – $54.00
