THE JOB OF HEAVY HAUL TRUCK/EQUIPMENT WASHER INCLUDES
- Performing pre-wash inspection of vehicles and equipment to identify areas that require special attention or repairs.
- Operating power washing equipment to clean exterior surfaces of heavy haul trucks, trailers, and equipment including wheels, tires, and undercarriages.
- The use of cleaning agents, brushes, and tools to remove dirt, grime, and other debris from surfaces.
- Following established safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
- Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and ordering additional supplies as needed.
- Recording and reporting any defects or damage to the vehicles and equipment.
- Ensuring that work areas are clean and organized, and that equipment is properly maintained and stored when not in use.
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures related to safety, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
THIS ONE’S FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE
- Experience washing heavy equipment preferred, but not required.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning agents and their proper use.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy equipment required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ability and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
Hourly Rate: $20-$25
