THE JOB OF TRUCK DRIVER INVOLVES
- Safely driving double side-dump haul trucks.
- Trucking gold ore roughly 240 miles one-way for processing at the existing Kinross Fort Knox Mine, located about 25 road miles northeast of Fairbanks.
- Vehicle inspections before and after each shift.
- Communicating with the dispatch team and managers to maintain timely deliveries.
THIS ONE’S FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE

- Valid Class A CDL license with doubles endorsements- Required
- 5 years of commercial driving experience- Required
- Experience driving in inclement weather- Required
- Heavy haul/oversize experience- Preferred
- An excellent driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational school training or apprenticeship- Preferred.
- Ability and willingness to work long shifts driving heavy haul trucks, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
- Ability and willingness to drive in all weather conditions and terrains.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

- *Please note: This is a full-time year-round position based out of North Pole, Alaska. Drivers work 4-6 days per week. We do not offer rotational shifts.
Hourly Rate: $41.47 – $42.40
